1. MISSION STATEMENT
1.1 Mission statement of the Brand Marketing and PR Dept:
a) To coordinate Brand Marketing PR activities cross China stations.
b) To initiate market development and PR related campaigns.
1.2 The desired objectives are for BMDPR Dept to contribute to SQ China’s efforts in increasing the awareness of SIA as a premium, full-service international network carrier, renowned for its innovative products and gracious services, and to leverage on Marketing and PR as promotional tool.
2. DETAILED JOB FUNCTIONS
2.1 Branding and Event
a) Plan and execute SQ China’s branding campaigns and events.
b) Coordinate with head office on branding and advertising matters, ensure SIA branding image and corporate image in China.
2.2 Collaterals and Visual Content
a) Plan and produce collaterals, static and video content suitable for China market with assistance from creative agencies.
b) Plan and develop videos, live-streaming content to promote SIA branding and boost sales.
c) Supervise visual outcomes from other BUs and partners as SIA brand guardian.
2.3 Promotional Activities
a) Plan and execute SQ-China promotional activities to create greater presence in the marketplace. Assist Stations and BUs with localized promotional activities.
b) Seek out opportunities for joint activities with the National Tourism Organization (NTOs), travel agents and other partners that have the ability to reach out to our target customers from both online and offline channels.
2.4 Product Development
a) In the area of destination development, coordination with NTOs and sales teams to develop emerging destinations.
b) For product development, to develop sales tools, sales kits and product framework for higher yield products such as MICE business, FIT leisure, LMD programs etc.
2.5 Market Studies and Development
a) Undertake market studies for new routes, new points in China for SQ network.
b) Assist with market development activities of other BUs and HO BMD.
c) Assist other tasks as required by department head.
3. CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
3.1.1 Personal Characteristics Behaviours
a) Bachelor degree and above from a reputable university
b) Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
c) Strong understanding of local market and experience of integrated marketing campaign planning and execution
d) Comprehensive capability on visual arts and creative design thinking
e) Proactive, confident and detail-oriented individual with outgoing personality
f) Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
g) Team player with diligent responsible work attitude
h) Fast learner and able to work well under pressure
i) Experiences in aviation, tourism industry or lifestyle industry are preferred
j) Skills on graphic design and video editing are preferred
